I would love to learn more - later - about the customer service certificate.
Denise Myers
40:03
I would too.
Denise Myers
42:05
I can see this being extremely useful especially in this new normal. This can help our students in many ways.

Just learned about Flippity recently. I really like how it has templates that you can use to populate with your own info/content.
David Rosen

What do you hope to create next?

I use and like Weebly, and have been looking at linking Google Classroom and other Google tools with a website for class. I would think that Google Sites would link well with Google tools. Do you know of reasons why Weebly would be better to use than a Google Site?
Denise Myers
54:09
Does one have to be in your class to access this website?
Jennifer Kluempen
54:35
Where did you get the content for your course?
Kathy DeMeo
57:32
Anyone have experience with Schoology and can offer tips/sites?
Sachi Oates
57:47
Our career skills institute offers a state approved customer care certificate program. That is part of career development and college preparation certificate programs approved by the California community college chancellor's office. I think there is a way to make a course like that more official
Kathy DeMeo
58:32
Does Google Classroom track hours? I was unaware of that
catherine frazer
59:25
Joanne.chandler@acenetwork.k12.de.us is very familiar with Schoology

Where can I see this again? Is there an instruction anywhere as to how to use Weebly?
Sylvia Provenski
01:01:10
Can you share the link to where you found the resources?
Denise Myers
01:01:30
It might be a good idea to have students create a portfolio and include the certificates. We could tell them that could be something to bring to a job interview as well. Having their certificates online is a plus too.

Really helpful talk. I used to use Weebly for class but haven't for a while. This has inspired me to try again (even for when we can one day go back to reliable in-person classes). The website is a very helpful model.
Denise Myers
01:04:25
Thank you!
Evelyn Crespo
01:04:27
Unfortunately, I have to step out. I will definitely share with my coworker. We just launched our digital Literacy Training online.
Laura Temali
01:06:12
Denise - in my 8-10 week face to face class they get a portfolio and a certificate. We would have to think about how to do that online!
Sachi Oates
01:12:09
Are these tools for counsellors and student advisors? Who are allowed to view their files?
Lori Krane
01:13:49
Would you share the Technology Access Survey?
Lori Krane
01:14:30
Are the NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessments free?
Cheryl Crane
01:15:29

Jen Vanek
01:16:18
@Cheryl - Is PII “personal information”?
Laurie Bargstedt
01:16:19
Great question - PII
Jacqueline Vulcano
01:16:22
Where is the Online Learning Readiness Survey from?
Cheryl Crane

Michelle Leduke
01:17:44
In Connecticut we aren't allowed to ask questions about learning disabilities nor are we allowed to keep or upload medical information on students.
Michelle Hunt
01:17:46
I would also like a copy of the motivation inventory. I had been talking about this to other instructors.
Kathy DeMeo
01:17:50
I love this Jessica, I hope you will share your Online Learning Readiness Survey. Where is the data gathered though?
Katherine Lopez-Arias

Sachi Oates
01:20:47

David Rosen
01:22:33
Is everything you offer now to distance learners done remotely? The Orientation, Instruction, assessment, counseling services? Do they need to do anything in person (e.g. in normal times)?
Michelle Leduke
01:23:17
We can still see Jessica's screen. She may have private chats that would be visible.
David Rosen
01:24:34

Soo Park
01:24:39
