From Donna Gibbon to Me: (Privately) (01:00 PM)
Are there any GED Testing Centers that will be open this summer in the Houston NW area?

05:35
I’m from Literacy Council of Tyler in Texas!

Tyler testing center is reopening May 11 with social distancing measures.

08:19
Do you know how they will ensure students are not googling answers on these remote tests?

09:08
I’ve also heard that GED is considering paper based tests in the home. How will they account for cheating there?

09:52
Wow! Thank you

For Texas, The information collected at entry (over 40+ data points) is a great tool for providers to determine eligibility including education status and ELL status. Utilizing something that has been in place since WIOA began and the providers are very familiar with is a great way to take a well known process and use that information in a different context, i.e staff determining eligibility, not just demographics

27:26
Thanks!

27:34
Thank you.

27:41
