what were the transportation options to the provincial hospital? did families had to organize them or was it provided by the higher level facility? any private options for medical transportation?

for neonatal conditions - do you have any data on referral completion and timeliness of completion?
Are there deliberate efforts by local authority to strengthen collaboration between public and private facilities in provision of quality services NN/CH? Any policies on the same? Did you find out on the type of ownership and cadre owners? This is Mary Okumu, Nairobi, Kenya

thanks, James! This is very interesting. There are a lot of challenges with tracking referral completion and timeliness of completion, happy to follow-up on that if of interest.
I want to ask about tool used to assess the PS services? Is it WHO tool of service availability and readiness ? or other tool ?
Great presentation James! A few questions - Given low levels of NN CH service delivery, would you recommend using provision of these services as a starting point for future engagement efforts (in Nepal or elsewhere)? Is there government interest in taking on a regulatory role with private providers? And/or any contracting or reimbursement mechanisms to incentivize private provision of NN and CH services? Are you moving towards standardizing or accrediting private providers? Thanks!
Great Presentation James and Cathy! Neelima, SSBH Nepal
this was a really great presentation. there are various gaps is there a way these are being prioritized? LIke what is first?
Thank you for an excellent presentation. Hoping that this work will lead to more receptiveness to working with AHWs who provide so much of the care for sick children in Nepal and elsewhere.
Eden Ahmed Mdluli (Project HOPE)

Excellent presentation - concrete data and solid recommendations. Would be excellent to have this type of data from some other sites. But also some cost and modeling proposals

Great insights on private sector from Nepal and more so on areas that needs strengthening. Thanks James
very interesting presentation, thank you so much.
Thank you for this very interesting presentation.
Thank you James for this excellent presentation.
Excellent info and exchange - sorry I have to leave
I think this is about lack of proper regulation of that sector, I have seen that this lack of proper attention has led to the mushrooming of many diverse private providers, which may not be the best solution for complex patients like neonates
Great presentation, valuable insights.
