Really appreciate the consultation. Will be interested to read the paper and in particular see any analysis of why common-sense, proven strategies are not currently being widely implemented; ideally including a political economy perspective (what are the power issues/incentives that prevent governments and other actors for taking action)

This is my first time to engage with this work. Why were Amoxicillin and Gentamicin chosen as the focus for this work?
Sita Strother
55:36
You can learn more about Child Survival Action by reading our vision document: https://www.childhealthtaskforce.org/resources/action-plan/2022/child-survival-action-vision-narrative-document

I am from Afghanistan and we have to work for zero-dose children. If someone help me to find any document about approach to reach these zero-dose children would be appreciated
Jane Briggs
01:02:21
The draft of the paper will be shared after this meeting and you are invited to provide any feedback to the CHTF e mail
Elizabeth Berryman
01:03:20
The GF recommendation is a great step forward but the overall budget envelope for GF support has not increased. So there is more choice but less funds as I understand it.

Elizabeth Berryman
01:04:44
It seems to be a great document and very much needed thanks.
Simon Berry
01:06:59
I welcome the focus on “low hanging fruit” and on “actionable tasks”. Does conflict with the iCCM ie with those advocating a holistic approach?
Francisco Blanco
01:10:02
Hi, the message of the call for action refers to general problems with access but also especifically for amoxi and gentamicin. Are there some examples of how programmes have succeded in resolving barriers and sustaining implementation (both generally for PHC and more specifically for sepsis)? It would be informative to refer to such cases.
Elizabeth Berryman
01:10:34
The taxation waivers and support to local manufacture was raised in Ethiopia so great to see that.
Emmanuel d'Harcourt
01:11:23
couldn't agree more about the dispersible tablets
Emmanuel d'Harcourt
01:12:07
But can there be a global supply of right-formulated amoxicillin? In my experience it seems the wheel has to be reinvented in each country when the needs in terms of formulation are very similar
Patricia Coffey
01:12:28
Thanks so much!
Elizabeth Berryman
01:12:38
There is some SBC work done to address issues around AMR is that what you meant by SBC engagement, a focus on adherence and health seeking behaviour or more advocacy by communities to address drug shortages?
Ellie Bahirai
01:14:44
PQM+ will be doing some work around SBC to raise awareness of SF medicines and will address AMR as part of those key messages and interventions to address them.
Simon Berry
01:14:46
Thank you Joseph and Jane.
Sarah Wangilisasi
01:14:53
When we engage with countries, would we need to contextualize the message for each country? I understand countries are at different stages in terms of commodities availability, guidelines updates, financing etc
Nadia Shokuri
01:15:28
thank you Joseph
