Many immigrants are not eligible for federal financial aid and don't have the financial resources to pursue their educational goals in the US. What other resources are available to them?
This may be on the docket but I have a student who worked as a gynecologist in her home country. She wants to get licensed to use her medical degree here in the US - not necessarily as a gynecologist but definitely as an MD. Can you walk me through the steps she needs to take to make this happen? Or tell me where I can find this information.

I worked in hr in healthcare for major Boston hospitals. There are many ancillary jobs not just CNA jobs in healthcare
They wil lnot get hired by anyone

employers run social security numbers by e- verify from homeland security. Without valid socials they will not get hired

If people have advanced degrees and good language skills AND get their credentials evaluated, they may be able to get an employer to sponsor them for an H1 B visa otherwise doing this without workauthorizaiton, they will not get hired. I have been in Human Rsources for over 20 years in aa variety of industires
