Amsalu Zeleke
35:34
Thank you. That was also my question. What is presented is only the end stage.
Amsalu Zeleke
37:32
What are the different stages of institutionalization and the bottlenecks?
John Borrazzo
56:31
The two slides on "state" and "phases" really help make this concrete. Very nice. I will have to give some more thought to how the two slides align. Perhaps there could be one slide with the "state" as the mature phase of the process.
Amsalu Zeleke
59:25
The conceptualization is perfect but too generic for applicability.
Marion Subah
01:00:31
what about using the health system building blocks and dividing resources, especially between Human and financing and domestic and internaltional
Megan Christensen
01:00:52
May also be helpful to reflect on if/how this applies to fragile and humanitarian contexts (or ‘the nexus’) -
Marion Subah
01:01:05
what about Data where is it and also partnership?
Maureen Momanyi
01:02:42
Also need to define 'expansion' - Is it geographic and/or service package?
Jennifer Foth
01:04:01
Thanks for your questions and comments all! I am taking notes for us to consider
Justin HABUMUGISHA
01:04:32
@Mamony the expansion is for package
wezi kalumbu
01:04:51
my hand is up
Justin HABUMUGISHA
01:05:06
or geographic
Marion Subah
01:05:49
thumbs up and thanks in general i am comfortable
Jennifer Foth
01:06:23
Thanks Marion and Wezi!
Eric Swedberg
01:06:42
As you noted it would be useful to try and include the structure and support components of institutionalization and note what tools have already been developed for those two components
Amsalu Zeleke
01:08:04
You deserve many thanks!
Jehan Ahmed
01:08:07
I think Ciro captured it!
Magdalena Serpa
01:09:04
On timing of outreach to country stakeholders, one concern is the relation to ongoing pandemic.
Eric Swedberg
01:09:18
Which three countries were identified?
John Borrazzo
01:09:32
I feel that the Definition would be stronger if it didn't lead with the words "A Process". Perhaps the Definition should be used to focus policymakers attention on the end-state. We are trying to use the Definition to drive commitment and shift the "Core Values", aren't we? The Framework is good but as I mentioned earlier, perhaps it could be one slide - process leading to end-state in each of the domains - with still TBD whether best cut by iCCM components vs. "Core Values/Policy/Leadership/Resources". We want all of this to communicate clearly and as simply as possible, I assume.
Maureen Momanyi
01:10:15
Which countries have been identified?
Jennifer Foth
01:11:06
Thanks John!
Christine Ogolla
01:11:25
Thank you all.. Rich presentation and discussions
Patricia Taylor
01:12:19
Excellent presentation. Definition is fine with me. At a glance, the framework seems too general to be easily understood/internalized by actors/stakeholders. Wondering if you considered using the MCSP scale up framework for iCCM or a simplification of it? As I remember, it got to some of the structural and resource details that are missing in the framework you propose.
Amsalu Zeleke
01:12:24
Yeah. Ethiopia would be a potential candidate
Jennifer Foth
01:13:24
Thank you for the recommendation, Patricia. We’ll take a look at the MSCP scale up framework!
Amsalu Zeleke
01:14:10
Ethiopia has got a community-based health system
Maureen Momanyi
01:14:32
We could also explore linkage to the Community HEalth Roadmap for the country consultations...
John Borrazzo
01:14:46
Thank you, all, for the great work done to date and the rich discussion today.
