Good morning! I am Lidia Giudici, neonatologist in follow up Care of the high risk newborn in Argentina
No all good!
Welcome Lidia, bienvenida
Do we know what “quality of care “ means for the families?
Ralf Weigel, paediatrician from Witten/Herdecke University, Germany
Thank you for these useful links to presentations
Lidia, I think you are referring to question around 'experience of care', which is one important component of the QoC framework?
We'll share these update slides after the call with the group
Webinar recordings on the subgroup page: https://www.childhealthtaskforce.org/subgroups/qoc (under Meeting Resources - 2021)
Very much appreciated and appropriate
We should mention that we have coordinated with some other subgroups (e.g. child health redesign) on some webinars and activities as well. Thanks, Dyness, for keeping eye on the bigger picture!
Lidia, "experience of care" both for patients and families is one of the areas we are aiming to have more activities in the future. If you are interested, we can let you know when we plan some meetings to move this forward.
I know my recommendation for congenital heart disease was transferred to the child health redesign group (thank you!) but I am still happy to connect your to the International Quality Improvement Collaborative for Pediatric Cardiac care, a global collaborative for hospitals from LMICs
How about putting some focus on pediatric mental health during the pandemic with focus on LMICs?
we ended up talking about something else in the child health redesign group :)
Kathleen Hill, Momentum Country Global Leadership (MCGL), Quality of Care team. Thank you for all the interesting updates and apologies as I need to leave the call early.
