Hi all, Riri Johnson Vonje from Zambia University; one concern, in countries where there is total lockdown like Uganda, how is the current implementation of iCCM? Are the CHWs or VHT currently working in their respective villages? How feasible is their current work with the social distance and complete lockdown of the whole country? Just need some clarifications on this. Thanks
This is Eric Swedberg - Senior Director Child Health for Save the Children. I will update the tracker on countrie where we are supporting MOH in iCCM programming. They include Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mali, Zimbabwe, Cote D'Ivoire, Nigeria and Nicaragua.

Any one from UNICEF, MOH & Partners from Zambia in this webnair?
Thanks to our colleagues for flagging these concerns re. health worker safety. Interested to collect experiences from our country colleagues re. whether CHWs who are continuing to deliver iCCM are continuing to administer malaria RDTs in the COVID-19 context, and/or whether govts. have instituted contingency plans about preparedness for switching to presumptive ACT treatment at community level, or whether presumptive malaria treatment is not being recommended at community level in countries that are already starting to see high caseloads, and the like.
Since things are evolving quickly due to COVID-19, may we consider meeting sooner than a month from now?
Also, appreciate any heads up on concept notes that might be coming our way soon for optional review. Thanks!
Thanks Nefra- yes
