To Sreehari Sir, Any programs for adult children with CHD??

01:11:36
Do you have any mentorship program for health workers managing children in health facilities in Africa

01:12:53
The concept of transition clinics needs to be integrated into our health care system.

01:13:32
Great discussion. So pertinent to all. Thank you.

01:15:41
Childrens Heart link and Dr Sreehari have been doing a wonderful job.Hridyam has been a very successful programme.

01:15:41
Hi, isn't transition clinic similar to mobile clinics?

01:16:21
What is being planned in Malaysia should also be replicated here...capacity building in the public sector

01:19:39
young adults are already too vulnerable due to their heart condition. They really need a system to survive. please help them

01:20:39
Thanks, indeed useful.

01:21:56
Any reflections on what this means for national governments and implementing partners working on strengthening PHC or HSS?

01:25:58
the budget allocation to heath care is just 2 to 3 percentage.. please can WHO have a ruling made mandatory that a certain percentage has to be allocated to health care depending of whether the country is developing or under development. Cz its a fact that its not that the country doesn't have the money but its not tapped the right way and the common man pays the price

01:26:13
Would be important to advocate for inclusion of NCDs, chronic care in LMICs in UHC and PHC initiatives, e.g. GAP PHC accelerator - including inclusion in national health sector plans, policies and ultimately integrated budgets etc

01:28:16
ACHD has a patient passbook that is very helpful in transitioning to Adult CHD

01:29:22
yes .its about commitment.

01:34:25
To the point Sreehari made about there being very low case numbers as a challenge; that is part of the rationale for UNICEF’s approach to chronic lifelong care that bundles chronic conditions and looks at critical health system inputs to integrate some elements of care at Primary Health Care level. An integrated approach would seem a more cost-efficient and practical way to achieve this.
