If there are questions for the team from Ethiopia - we will have a few minutes to address them. Feel free to put in the chat

01:21:44
Hi, we should think about we do proper transition to new MNCH products like Amoxy DT learning from this from a supply and demand side - Ethiopia is a good case study
Ceremy Fertil
01:21:55
This is a very interesting case study.
sabbir ahmed
01:22:25
Many countries have introduced e-MIS for health service delivery gradually replacing paper base Routine MIS and data is in use for programmatic purpose. however an e-LMIS is still not introduced. Even e-LMIS is introduced, Amoxi-DT is not included. An e-LMIS with real-time monitoring can improve supply chain availability/stock out of amoxicillin DT.
chris masila
01:22:25
interesting use of DUE's for this purpose
Ceremy Fertil
01:23:05
Congratulations Ethiopia!
Jayashree Muralidharan

very nice study Ethiopia!

01:24:17
What is the plan to take this approach to scale and what challenges do you anticipate?
Patricia Jodrey, USAID
01:26:37
DUE and DTCs need to work together. If the DTCs are formed by practitioners of the facilities intervened, the review of records allow them to self-assess their practices - Increase of self-awarenes
Patricia Jodrey, USAID
01:29:10
Could you tell us more about the audit and feedback?
Fikreslassie Alemu
01:29:17
Thank You for your comment and feedback on the Drug use evaluation work on pneumonia. We have a plan to scale up the implementation and conduct the DUE at a number of facilities where such drug use problem exists with utilization of Amox DT

Patricia Jodrey, USAID
01:37:14
Apologies, I missed that part
Anaclet NGABONZIMA
01:59:29
These interventions should not be limited to training and or refresher on IMNCI but to mentoring system also which much emphasis on peer mentoring!
Dyness Kasungami
02:01:28
@ Jane, what is included in the "community support" in this case?
Anaclet NGABONZIMA
02:01:57
I also wonder whether the improvement of leadership in health care can not allow the improvement of rational use of amoxicillin and gentamicin
Patricia Jodrey, USAID
02:02:25
Leadership helps but it's not enough, I think
Siobhan Vega
02:46:18
