I joined about 10 minutes late. Are the community connect labs specific to CA or are they nationwide? Thanks!

I heard that the census *may* hire non-citizens if they have a need for people with certain language skills. So should non-citizens fill out the application in the hope that they may eventually need to be hired?

56:55
the census outreach worker who I met with last week did encourage our non-citizen applicants to submit since the process may be changing if they cannot get enough people.

Thanks, Emily Watts. Do you know if you can actually move through the application even if you don't have an SSN? I was imagining that if you couldn't list an SSN, then you wouldn't be able to progress through the application.

01:02:24
Yes, we will be sharing the slides with all attendees and also posting the webinar recording on the NELRC website.

01:02:28
While I am not a lawyer, it is my understanding that you do not need to be a citizen to have an SSN issued.

How do you determine that it’s a 30 hour course if instructors are building the lessons from multiple sources that may devote varied amounts of time to each topic?
