[Webinar] Climate Change Implications for Global Food Safety
On behalf of the U.S. Government Global Nutrition Coordination Plan Food Safety Technical Working Sub-Group, we are pleased to invite you to a webinar addressing climate change implications for global food safety. While the effects of climate change on food security are better understood, the impacts on food safety have received limited recognition so far. The event will draw highlights from the FAO’s Climate change: Unpacking the burden on food safety, which serves as a compilation of some of the most up-to-date information on the effects of climate change on various food safety hazards.

Moderator:
Dr. Nika Larian is an AAAS Fellow in the USAID/RFS Center for Nutrition.

Speakers:
Dr. Keya Mukherjee is a Food Safety Specialist with the Food Systems and Food Safety Division of the FAO.
Dr. Vittorio Fattori is a Food Safety Officer in the Food Systems and Food Safety Division of FAO.
